Hornets 87, Pistons 77 – The Charlotte Hornets managed to contain the Pistons offense in Wednesday night’s win over Detroit.

The Pistons’ offense was held to 38 percent shooting throughout the contest.

Charlotte, which outscored the Pistons 21-5 on the free throw line, was paced by Kemba Walker with 28 points while Nicolas Batum chipped in with 14 points and 15 rebounds.

Andre Drummond led Detroit with a game-high 26 points and 20 rebounds while Tobias Harris added 14 points.

The Pistons are now 12-12 on the season, good for an eighth place tie in the NBA’s Eastern Conference.

Detroit will continue its road trip on Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
