The Fruitport wrestling team opened its season on a high note Tuesday, defeating Plainwell 65-12 and Wayland Union
58-24 in non-conference dual action.
The Trojans had nine wrestlers go undefeated on the night.
Posting 2-0 records for Fruitport were were Connor Sykes, Zack Sykes, Mason Brown, Karl Glydewell, Christian Straley, Dominic Dault, Bailey Lynn, Levi Six and Terel Johnson.
