The Muskegon Community College women’s basketball team fell to the unbeaten Owens Community College squad 86-55 on Saturday.
The Jayhawks are now 4-2 on the season while Owens CC is off to an 8-0 start.
Owens CC built its lead with a 22-7 second quarter run and did not relinquish it.
Kalisa Williams paced the Jayhawks with 12 points, six steals and four assists. Camaryia Williams added 11 points for MCC and Jena’a Matthews led under the basket with seven rebounds.
