Julie Brown’s 16 points and 16 rebounds helped propel the Whitehall girls basketball squad over North Muskegon 55-43 on Tuesday night in a West Michigan Conference showdown.

The Vikings jumped out a 16-9 lead after the first quarter, led 33-17 at halftime and had a 44-30 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.

Kacey Jefferies added 12 points for Whitehall, while Sierra Spann contributed with 10 points and Katelyn Goodrich chipped in with six assists and four steals.

The Norse were paced by Mya Duncan with 21 points and six rebounds and Mikayla Greiner had eight points and 12 rebounds.
