Alyza Winston scored 23 points to lead the Mona Shores girls basketball team to a 69-36 victory over West Ottawa on Tuesday.

The game was knotted at 13-13 after one quarter before Mona Shores blew the game open with a 19-7 second quarter edge and a 37-16 advantage in the second half.

Jordan Walker scored 16 points to go with eight steals, five assists and four rebounds for the Sailors. Nia Miskel added 11 points and seven rebounds.
