The Muskegon Big Reds used a big second half to pull away from Detroit Loyola 78-56 on Friday in non-league action.

Sam Cornett paced Muskegon with 25 points and eight rebounds while Jermayne Golidy and Anthony Bethea III added 16 and 14 points, respectively.

The Big Reds only led by six at halftime, but expanded their edge to 16 after three quarters. They remained unbeaten with a 10-0 record.
