CSAA boys hoops: Kent City and Fremont post victories while Holton loses

Frasier Wilson nailed six 3-pointers in the first half, propelling the Kent City boys basketball team to a 66-33 victory over Hesperia in CSAA action on Friday.

The Eagles led 39-7 at halftime and never looked back. They improved to 13-5 overall and 8-2 in CSAA Silver Division play.

Wilson finished with 22 points.

FREMONT 60, TRI-COUNTY 30 – The Packers (13-6, 10-4) took over from the tip-off, jumping out to a 23-2 advantage in the first quarter. Ryan Geeting and Cooper Kukal led a balanced Fremont attack with 14 and 13 points, respectively, while Logan Karnemaat had five blocks.

LAKEVIEW 47, HOLTON 30 – Kevin Slowik paced the Red Devils (9-10, 3-7) with 10 points on the night in the conference loss.
