Grand Haven girls roll past Union, will face Reeths-Puffer in Class A semis

The Grand Haven girls basketball team disposed of Grand Rapids Union 63-34 on Monday in the first round of the Class A district tournament.

Alli Keyser paced the Bucs with 17 points and six assists. Autumn Buikema added 11 points and six steals while Maggie Long had 10 points.

Olivia McMullen, who was called up from junior varsity for the tournament, snagged eight rebounds for Grand Haven while Esther Byington blocked three shots.

The Bucs will face Reeths-Puffer in Wednesday’s semifinals at Reeths-Puffer High School at 7:30 p.m.
