The Muskegon boys basketball squad cruised past Mona Shores 87-45 on Tuesday night in an OK Black Conference game.

The Big Reds jumped out to a 28-14 lead after the first quarter, led 50-30 at halftime and had a 78-35 advantage heading into the final stanza.

Markell Jackson paced Muskegon with 24 points while Jermayne Golidy added 20 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds. Sam Cornett chipped in with 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Big Reds.

The Sailors were led by Jarvis Walker with 18 points while KeVonte Pegues contributed with nine.
