The Muskegon Catholic boys basketball team earned a Lakes 8 victory, defeating Orchard View 52-41 on Friday night.
The Crusaders (8-8, 5-4) jumped out to a 17-9 lead after the first quarter, led 31-19 at halftime and had a 44-29 advantage heading into the fourth.
Nick Morgenstern paced MCC with 16 points, eight rebounds and four steals while AJ Johnson added 11 points, six rebounds and four steals. Walker Christofferson chipped in with nine points for the Crusaders.
The Cardinals were led by Edmari Mitchell with 12 points, while Cameron Williams scored 11.
