Jordan Walker and Alyza Winston combined for 54 points to power the Mona Shores girls basketball tam to a 66-57 victory over Jenison on Tuesday.

The Sailors posted a 24-point second quarter which allowed them to gain a 36-27 halftime lead.

The Wildcats were led by Shelby Nyboer with 12 points.

MUSKEGON 47, FRUITPORT 36 – Despite getting a huge triple-double of 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 blocks from forward Iyana Brown, Fruitport fell short against Muskegon in an 11-point O-K Black Conference loss. Muskegon raced off to a 21-15 halftime lead and led by double digits heading into the fourth quarter. Diynasti Dowell had 11 points and five rebounds while Paula Burr added 11 points and three steals for the Big Reds.

EAST KENTWOOD 63, GRAND HAVEN 46 – East Kentwood used a big fourth quarter, outscoring Grand Haven 22-9, to remain unbeaten in O-K Red Conference play. East Kentwood center Corinne Jemison scored 21 points to lead the Falcons while Grand Haven sophomore Alli Keyser had 21 points. Grand Haven is now 10-6 overall and 4-4 in the league.
