The Montague boys basketball team overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to down North Muskegon 52-49 on Friday in West Michigan Conference action.

The Wildcats trailed 33-23 at halftime. Their big quarter was the third, when they outscored North Muskegon 16-5.

Josh Weesies led the Wildcats (13-3, 11-2) with 18 points while Merritt Hamman and Kenyan Johnson chipped in 17 and 11, respectively.

Dalton Fuller, Brett Huff and Thomas Montgomery scored 10 points apiece for North Muskegon (10-7, 8-5).

OAKRIDGE 59, RAVENNA 45 – Morgan Meinders and TJ Ruel each posted double-doubles for the Eagles (6-11, 6-7). Meinders had 20 points and 10 rebounds while Ruel added 15 points and 10 rebounds. Ravenna (4-11, 2-10) was led by Ryan Osmer with 11 points.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 66, SHELBY 37 – Ryan Mount had 17 points and six rebounds to lead the Spartans (5-8, 5-6) to a victoryt. Austin Tyndall added 10 points for MCC. Shelby (3-13, 2-11) was led by Lotrell Sobers with nine points.
