The league-leading Whitehall boy’s basketball team raced past Ravenna 69-46 on Friday in a West Michigan Conference contest.

The Vikings led 46-19 at halftime and never looked back.

Lucas Schumm led Whitehall with 15 points while Brandon Rake added nine. Drew Young chipped in nine assists and four rebounds.

Anthony Arbogast paced Ravenna with 10 points while Austin Sied added eight.

Whitehall improved to 11-2 overall and 10-0 in conference play.

NORTH MUSKEGON 55, SHELBY 41 – The Norse (8-5, 6-3) picked up a West Michigan Conference win over Shelby on Tuesday night. T.J. McKenzie and Dalton Fuller paced North Muskegon with 11 points apiece while Riley Fairfield added nine points and eight rebounds. The Tigers were led by Spencer Brown with 21 points while Jonas Kelley contributed with 11.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 48, HART 40 – The Spartans overcame a 21-11 first quarter deficit, outscoring Hart by a 23-14 margin during the second half. The Pirates were led by Austin Vanderlaan with 11 points while Alec Kempker added 10.

MONTAGUE 59, OAKRIDGE 53 – The Wildcats outscored Oakridge by a 28-18 margin during the third quarter to erase a three-point halftime deficit. Merritt Hamann led Montague with 23 points and 13 rebounds while Josh Weesies added 16 points.
