The Muskegon Heights boys basketball team finished the third stanza with a flurry to take down host Kent City 63-52 on Wednesday in the Class C district semifinals.

The Tigers led 11-4 after the first quarter and 28-26 at the halftime.

Kent City took 33-31 advantage in the third quarter, but failed to close the deal.

Muskegon Heights ended the third frame with a 12-3 run to take a 43-36 lead heading into the fourth quarter before sealing the victory.

Antoine Jones scored 21 points to lead the Tigers, while Anthony Jones poured in 19.

The Eagles were pace by Fraser Wilson with 19 points while Gavin Mead chipped in 13.

The Tigers will face North Muskegon in the Class C district finals on Friday night at Kent City. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.
