The North Muskegon boy’s basketball team finished the regular season on a high note on Thursday, upsetting Ludington 49-46 in non-league action.

The Orioles erased a 10-point halftime deficit to tie the game as the fourth quarter began.

TJ McKenzie hit a free throw with 10 seconds left to give the Norse a three-point lead. Ludington had several chances to score in the final moments, but couldn’t convert.

North Muskegon collected nine 3-pointers from seven different players.

Riley Fairfield led the Norsemen with 14 points while McKenzie added 11. North Muskegon finished the regular season with a 13-7 record.

Sam LaDuke paced the Orioles with 15 points while Joshua Laman added 10. Ludington finished the regular season with an 18-2 record.
