The Ravenna girls soccer team started its season on a positive note with an 8-1 victory over Wellspring Prep on Wednesday.
Izzy Hammond led the scoring barrage for the Bulldogs with a three-goal hat trick. Emily Spruit added two goals while Alicia Spruit, Maddie Abbott and Amber Jacobs had single goals.
Heidi Barnhard had three assists for Ravenna while Ryen Huyser, Schuyler Wetzig and Emily Spruit each had one.
Kaylea Young and Hollie Griffith shared goalkeeping duties for the Bulldogs.
