The Whitehall boys basketball team coasted to a 71-28 Class B district semifinal victory over Orchard View on Wednesday night at Spring Lake High School.
The Vikings jumped out to a 27-10 first quarter advantage before extending the lead to 47-18 at halftime.
Whitehall continued to pull away during the second half, leading 64-23 after the third quarter before closing the game with a 7-5 fourth quarter run.
Lucas Schumm and Brandon Rake each scored 16 points to lead the Vikings, who are now 19-2 on the season, while Casey Huizenga added 11.
Orchard View (5-16) was paced by Cam Williams with 11 points.
The Vikings will face the winner of the host Spring Lake and Oakridge on Friday night at 7 p.m. in the Class B district finals.
