The Grant baseball team had an easy time with Hart on Thursday, winning both ends of a non-league doubleheader 21-5 and 9-0.

Rylee Shultz pitched the victory in the first game, striking out four in three innings. Tristen Chesebro pitched one inning in relief with two strikeouts.

Spencer Naffziger, Chase Lowry and Zach VanderWeide each had three hits for the Tigers.

Alec Kempker  had two hits and an RBI for Hart. Austin Vanderlaan had one hits and two RBIs.
Hart was hurt by seven errors in the field.

In Game 2, Jake Miller got the win on the mound, tossing six innings and striking out five. Shultz had three hits while Gabe Castro and Ian Francisco each had two.

Leo McCulley pitched a strong 2 2/3 innings of relief for Hart, giving up only one hit while striking out two.
