The Muskegon Community College baseball team extended its winning streak to five games with a pair of victories over Ancilla College on Saturday.

MCC won the opener 5-3, after scoring three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Ryan Beadle paced the offense with two hits, including a homer, and two RBIs. Carson Hopman added two hits, including a double.

Relief pitcher Joe Huesing tossed four scoreless innings and got the win.

The Jayhawks jumped all over Ancilla in Game 2, getting a 13-2 win.

Ryan Fields led the way at the plate with two hits, including a homer and a triple, and five RBIs. Beadle had two hits, including a homer, and four RBIs. Hopman had another two hits and knocked in a run.

Pitcher Cade Cinterino tossed a complete game, scattering five hits and striking out five.

The Jayhawks are now 22-20-1 on the season and 11-9 in conference action.
