Pitcher Brendan Kelly tossed a complete-game five-hitter on Friday, leading the Muskegon Community College baseball team to a 9-2 victory over Ancilla College in the first game of a doubleheader.

Cade Cinterino led the MCC offense with two hits, including a home run, and three RBIs. Ryan Fields had two hits, including a double.

The Jayhawks completed the sweep with a 6-3 victory in Game 2, after scoring three runs in the sixth inning to break a tie.

Jake Boes continued the great pitching for MCC, scattering seven hits to collect a 6-3 complete-game win.

Carson Hopman had two doubles and an RBI for MCC while Dylan Limbacher had a hit and scored a run.

MCC evened its record at 20-20-1 on the season, including 9-9 in conference play.
