Sarah Mikesell scored her second goal of the game with five minutes remaining, giving the Mona Shores girls soccer team an exciting 3-2 victory over Grand Haven on Saturday in non-conference action.

Grand Haven started the scoring off with a goal by Alli Keyser seven minutes into the game. Mikesell scored her first goal late in the first half to tie the game 1-1 at the break.

Keyser scored again for Grand Haven 4 ½ minutes into the second half, putting the Buccaneers up 2-1. Nora Brown scored later in the half for Mona Shores, tying the game and setting up Mikesell’s winning tally.

Mona Shores improved to 4-0 on the season.
