The Montague softball team extended its winning streak to six games after a doubleheader sweep of Mason County Central on Tuesday.

The Wildcats pounded out 36 runs in the two games, winning by scores of 18-3 and 18-8.

Courtney Lohman starred in the circle and at the plate in Game 1. She pitched four innings to earn the win, picking up six strikeouts. Lohman added four hits and four RBIs as well.

Kat Moreau added three hits and two RBIs for the Wildcats, while Alyssa Bobian had two hits and drove in two.

The victory gave Montague Coach Doug Rice 100 for his career.

The offense kept rolling in Game 2 as the Wildcats scored 16 runs in the second inning. Sydney Stine led the way with three hits and two RBIs. Moreau and Bobian each had two hits and two RBIs.
