The Muskegon Catholic baseball team swept its doubleheader with Western Michigan Christian on Tuesday in Lakes 8 action.

The Crusaders cruised past WMC 13-3 in the opening game, then won the nightcap by a 12-2 margin.

An Pham picked up the win on the mound in Game 1 for the Crusaders, allowing two hits and striking two out.

Mason Convertini led the offense with a double and a triple with three RBIs while Cole Charlesworth also had two hits. Bobby Ahern and Hai Nguyen each contributed with two RBIs.

Cam Waller and Trail Goodrich had the lone hits for the Warriors in Game 1.

In Game 2, Nolan Convertini picked up the win while allowing two runs on three hits for MCC.

Charlesworth and Ahern led the Crusader offense with two hits each while Charlesworth added two RBIs.

Jackson Riegler, Convertini, and Josh Huston also had two RBIs for Muskegon Catholic.

Cam Waller had a double for Western Michigan Christian to lead the offense in Game 2.

Muskegon Catholic improved to 3-1 in conference play with the two victories.
