Oakridge baseball posts three wins, claims title at Kent City-Ravenna tournament

The Oakridge baseball team won the Kent City-Ravenna Neighborhood Invitational Tournament on Saturday with victories over Kent City 13-3, Comstock Park 9-4, and Ravenna 8-3.

Morgan Meinders got the Game One win on the mound. Brady Luttrull had two home runs, five RBIs and scored three runs for the Eagles. Jalen Hughes was 4-for-4 at the plate.

Koleman Wall got the win in Game 2 with Monty Cerchiori in relief. Luke Layman went 2-for-4 with a home run, drove in two runs, and scored twice. Jaxon Fri was 2-for-3 with a two-run double.

TJ Ruel got the Game 3 win with Jarrett Fatseas in relief. Meinders was 2-for-4 with a double and a triple and had three RBIs. Jalen Hughes was 2-for-4 at the plate.
