The WMCC softball squad swept a doubleheader against NorthPointe Christian, winning 17-2 and 7-4 on Thursday evening.
In Game 1 WMCC was led offensively by Haylee Moser and Hannah Nestell with three hits and four RBIs while Maria Sanocki chipped in with three hits and two RBIs.
Rebecca Ter Haar, Stephanie Weesies and Leah Sweetman each contributed with two hits apiece for WMCC.
WMCC’s Moser pitched the victory, allowing two runs on one hit while striking out seven batters in five innings.
In Game 2 Nestell paced WMCC with two hits, while Moser tossed the final three innings to pick up her second win of the day. She allowed one run on two hits while striking out five batters.
