Amy England scores four goals to lead Shelby over Manistee in Div. 3 girls soccer action

Amy England’s four-game performance led the Shelby girls soccer squad to a 4-1 victory over host Manistee on Wednesday in a Division 3 district semifinal game.

The Tigers will face the winner of Whitehall and Big Rapids in the district finals on Saturday at Manistee High School.

Shelby’s Priscilla Salgado, Angela Ortiz and Sophie Clark each picked up an assist.

The Tigers led 3-0 at halftime and outshot Manistee by a 17-7 margin.

Shelby’s goalkeeper Brooke James stopped seven shots in net.
