The Oakridge softball squad shut out Shelby in both games of a doubleheader on Wednesday night in West Michigan Conference play. 

The Eagles took the opener 14-0 and the nightcap 12-0.

Kayla Fessenden pitched five innings while only allowing one hit and striking out six batters on her way to a win in Game 1. Madison Carroll pitched the final two innings for the save with six strikeouts.

Hannah Reinhold and Carroll each had three hits, including a double and a home run, to lead the offense. Macy Whipple added two hits.

In Game 2, Alyssa Fessenden threw a perfect game with 11 strikeouts over five innings. Reinhold and Carroll paced the offense once again, each having two hits, including a home run.

Oakridge improved to 16-1 overall.
