The Grand Haven softball team avenged a one-run loss last week to West Ottawa by sweeping a doubleheader rematch on Tuesday, 4-2 and 11-2.

In Game 1, pitcher Baby Hang scattered 10 hits through 6 1/3 innings to pick up the win. Hang also helped herself at the plate, picking up three hits and scoring twice.

Kelly Stafford and Emma Boersen each had three RBIs in Game 2 to pace the Buccaneers to an easy win.

Grand Haven is now 10-10 on the year and 5-8 in O-K Red Conference play.
