The Holton softball squad cruised past its rival in a CSAA doubleheader on Friday.

The Red Devils won the opening game 12-4, then defeated the Panthers 11-3 in the nightcap.

In Game 1 Holton was paced by Courtney Slater with four hits while Makaela Baker added three hits, including a triple and home run. Shelbey Younts chipped in with two hits for Holton.

Baker pitched the victory for the Red Devils in the opening game.

In Game 2 Holton was led by Haylee Brant with four hits while Emily Larabee, Michayla Ross, Kaylie Piper and Baker contributed with two hits apiece.

Brant picked up the win on the mound for the Red Devils, allowing three hits.

Holton is now 19-2 on the season and 13-1 in league play.
