The Mona Shores softball team split two games on Saturday at the Milan Pediatric Cancer Tournament in 
Hudsonville.
In Game 1 the sailors defeated Grand Rapids South Christian 8-4. Madison Van Etten picked up the win on the mound, striking out five. Erika Dakin and Ryleigh Wehler each had two hits while Taylor Dew belted a three-run homer.
The Sailors were defeated in Game 2 by Zeeland West 7-3. Wehler and Veronica Kastelic each had 3 hits.
The Sailors are now 15-14 on the season.
