The Montague baseball team won a pair of games on Saturday to capture the title in its own May Day Invitational tournament.

The Wildcats beat Hudsonville Unity Christian in their first game, 6-2. Abram Erickson was the winning pitcher. Dylan Stever, Nick Stever and Remington Schneider each had two hits for Montague.

The Wildcats capped their day with a 15-0 shutout of Newaygo. Max Mickelson got the win on the mound. Erikson had three hits and three RBIs while Johnny Monett had two hits, including a double.

Montague improved to 15-10 on the season.
