The North Muskegon baseball team completed a four-run comeback in a 9-8 victory over Kent City in 11-innings on Monday night.

The Norsemen trailed 8-4 before scoring one run in the sixth inning and three in the seventh to tie the game and force extra innings.

Brighton Schofield, who finished with three hits on the day, delivered the game-winning hit for the Norsemen on a single to left field.

Schofield, Ryan Kenny and Jesse Cooke combined to throw 6 1/3 shutout innings for North Muskegon.

Tommy Gautraud added two hits for North Muskegon, while Dalton Fuller scored two runs.

Skylour Campbell had three hits to lead Kent City.

Game 2 was called after 3 1/2 innings due to darkness with Kent city holding on to a 6-5 lead.
