The Ravenna and Hesperia baseball teams split a non-league doubleheader on Thursday.

Ravenna took the opener 7-1 while Hesperia won the second game 7-2.

Tim Linck pitched the victory in Game 1 for Ravenna, allowing three hits and striking out five.

Hesperia’s Logan Balkema pitched a complete-game victory in Game 2, scattering six hits.

Hunter Dickson paced Hesperia with one hit and an RBI in the first game while adding three hits and two runs in Game 2. Zach Young added two hits in Game 2 for the Panthers.

Ravenna is now 9-6 while Hesperia is 10-6-1.
