Spring Lake baseball team falls 8-3 to Sparta Spartans in O-K Blue league action

The Spring Lake baseball team was unable to overcome a consistent Sparta offense in an 8-3 loss Thursday in O-K Blue Conference action.

David Rumptz led the Laker offense with three hits and scored two runs, while Noah Sandberg added one hit and two RBIs.

Spring Lake pitcher Jakob Gray took the loss despite having a decent start. He tossed five innings, scattering six hits and giving up four earned runs.
