Spring Lake girls soccer team beats Comstock Park, wraps up O-K Blue championship

The Spring Lake soccer team wrapped up its impressive regular season on a high note on Wednesday, beating Comstock Park 8-0 and clinching the O-K Blue Conference championship.

Spring Lake had seven players account for its eight goals. The Lakers were led by senior Sarah Thornley with two goals and sophomore Laney Peasley, who added a goal with three assists.

Goalkeeper Kamryn Lewkowski posted the shutout for the Lakers.

Spring Lake finished with a 15-2-1 overall record and a 12-0 mark in the conference.
