A three-goal second half propelled Whitehall to a 4-1 girls soccer win over Oakridge on Tuesday night in West Michigan Conference action.

The game was tied 1-1 at halftime, then the Vikings pulled away in the second half.

Alex Fleener tallied a pair of goals to lead Whitehall. Lauren Baustert and Emma Thompson both had single goals. Ellie Stevens had two assists while Kacy Jeffries and Hannah Sanford each had one.

Vikings goalie Kerrigan Semans stopped six shots and was backed up by solid defensive play from Clara Moore, Mackenzie Bentz, Kaeliegh Vandervelde, Lyndsey Jeffries and Meagan Bourdo.

Whitehall is now 8-5 overall and 5-1 in conference play.
