The West Michigan Whitecaps won their third straight game on Tuesday with a 15-7 victory at Lake County to wrap up the five game series.

Isaac Paredes led the Whitecaps with four hits and four RBIs including two home runs. Anthony Pereira added three hits for West Michigan while Derek Hill, Cole Bauml and Austin Athmann all added two RBIs.

Spenser Watkins picked up the win for West Michigan, allowing three earned runs in five innings while striking out three.

West Michigan is 77-34 on the season and 32-12 in the second half, three games ahead of Fort Wayne for first place in the Midwest League Eastern Division second half standings.

The Whitecaps will return home on Thursday at 7:05 pm to being a four-game series with Great Lakes.
