The Ludington soccer took second place in the Eaton Rapids Invitational on Saturday. 

The Orioles beat Stevensville-Lakeshore in their first game 6-2. Ben Knoer scored three goals, Caleb School added two and  Brayden Porter had one. Kyle Wendt had seven saves in net for Ludington.

The Orioles beat Haslett in a shootout in the second contest. Lynn Richard scored for the Orioles while Wendt made five saves, and had the game-winning save in the shootout.

Ludington’s last game was a 3-1 loss to Plainwell. Knoer scored another goal and Wendt made seven saves.

The Orioles are now 4-2-2 on the season.
