Mona Shores drops a 2-1 decision to Unity Christian in boys soccer

The Mona Shores soccer team suffered a 2-1 loss to Hudsonville Unity Christian on Friday.

Miller Vandermolen scored for the Sailors in the first half, with an assist from Jose Mojica, and the game was tied 1-1 at halftime.

Unity Christian scored with 10 minutes remaining in the second half to grab the victory.

Everett Emery had seven saves in goal for the Sailors, who fell to 1-2 on the season.
