Muskegon Community College volleyball team rolls to victory in opener

The Muskegon Community College volleyball team opened its season with a straight-set victory over Jackson College on Wednesday.

The set scores were 25-12, 25-15, 25-12.

Leading the Jayhawk attack was Robbie Berg with 15 kills and seven service aces, Katie Veihl with 23 assists and three blocks, and Sammi Hockstra with 19 assists.

The Jayhawks will travel to Wisconsin this weekend for the Battle of the Dells tournament, which features many of the top junior college teams in the nation.
