The Spring Lake girls golf team outdistanced Kalamazoo Hackett and won the Fruitport Invitational on Friday.
The Lakers finished with 351 points and Hackett had 360. They were followed by North Muskegon (380), NorthPointe Christian 1 (387), NorthPointe Christian 2 (401), Coopersville (407), Fruitport ( 427), Whitehall (431), Manistee ( 443), Tri-County (453) and Montague (494).
Taking first place individually was Abby Grevel from North Muskegon, who shot a 78.
She was followed by Madelyn Nelson of Spring Lake (80), Lindsay Bliss of North Muskegon and Hanna Klein and Phoebe Sanders of Spring Lake (82), Emily Stull of Hackett (85), Molly Clark of Hackett (86), Amelia Gonzalez and Elizabeth Neymeyer of NorthPointe Christian (91), and Annelis Krayveld of NorthPointe Christian and Jessie Wenzel of Hackett (92).
