Grand Haven football squad remains winless, falls to rival Rockford 39-10 in league game

The Grand Haven football team fell to Rockford 39-10 in an O-K Red Conference matchup on Friday night.

Jake Thayer connected on a 40-yard field goal in the first quarter to cut the Rams’ lead to 7-3. 

Rockford increased its advantage to 17-3 at the half.

In the third quarter, the Bucs scored their lone touchdown on an Adam Nelson pass to Kellen Bridgeforth covering 50 yards.

Grand Haven falls to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in conference play. The Bucs will take on Caledonia next Friday.
