The Muskegon Community College volleyball squad defeated Lansing Community College 3-0 on Thursday.

The Jayhawks won all three sets with service scores of 25-18, 25-21 and 27-25.

MCC was led by Robbie Berg with 18 kills and 20 digs while Delaney Bennett added 10 kills and Katie Veihl chipped in with 34 assists.

The Jayhawks were also led by Julie Brown with three blocks and Sammi Hockstra, who contributed with 15 digs.

MCC is now 11-13 on the season and 9-1 in league play, good for second place behind unbeaten Grand Rapids Community College.
