Mona Shores boys tennis team wins all its flights, cruises past GR Union

The Mona Shores boys tennis team cruised to an 8-0 victory over Grand Rapids Union on Wednesday in an O-K Black Conference match.

In singles play Andrew Swirczek (6-1, 6-0), Nick Davis (6-0, 6-0) and Payton Frederickson (5-7, 6-3, 6-1) each won their match for Mona Shores.

The Sailors also swept GR Union in four of their doubles flights.

No. 1 doubles team Zach Davis and Thad Krause (6-0, 6-1), No. 2 doubles team Connor Belanger and Tyler Warren (6-3, 6-1), No. 3 team of Camden Eigenauer and Chris Horvath and No. 4 doubles squad of Grant Hylland and Brady Whalen (6-0, 6-0) each picked up a win.
