Whitehall tennis team dominates Western Michigan Christian in road victory

The Whitehall tennis team defeated Western Michigan Christian 7-1 on Wednesday.

Winning singles matches for the Vikings were Spencer Trnka (6-1, 7-6) in No. 1 singles, Jackson VanBergen (6-4, 6-2) in No. 2 singles, and Ben Ward (6-0, 6-2) in No. 3 singles.

The lone Western Michigan victory was Casey Fink in No. 3 singles (6-1, 6-0).

Doubles winners for Whitehall were No. 1 doubles team Jack Groessl and Michael Heylmun (6-1, 6-3), No. 2 doubles team Brendan Vanderkool and Ryan Findorff (6-4, 4-6, 7-6), No. 3 doubles team Evan Luce and Christian Smolen (6-1, 6-2) and No. 4 doubles team Caleb Beeghly and Bryce Sherrell (6-2, 6-2).
