WMC’s Josie Aardema finishes first overall in girls’ race at Oakridige Invitational

Josie Aardema of Western Michigan Christian was the individual champion at the Oakridge Invitational on Saturday with a time of 21:20.20.

Emily Unger of Montague was second with a time of 21:27.34 while Breana Malison of Mason County Central was third with a time of 21:33.49.

Grand Rapids Covenant Christian won the team event with a score of 39.  Mason County Central was third (76), Western Michigan Christian was fourth (93), Montague was fifth (112) and Shelby was sixth (163).
