Fruitport Calvary soccer team rallies in second half, beats Ravenna 4-2 in districts

The Calvary Christian boys soccer team used four second-half goals to top Ravenna 4-2 in a Division 4 district tournament contest on Monday.

Zach Zehr tallied two goals for the Eagles while Ben Zelenka and Ethan Pollock each had a goal and assist. Raj Grewel also had an assist for Fruitport Calvary.

Jake McFarren made seven saves in goal for the Eagles, who improved to 9-5-2 on the year.

Fruitport Calvary advances to Wednesday’s 5 p.m. district semifinal at Western Michigan Christian against either Algoma Christian or Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian.
