Grand Haven gives up 43 unanswered points, falls to East Kentwood in O-K Red contest

The Grand Haven football team dropped a 43-7 decision to East Kentwood on Friday in an O-K Red Conference game.

The Buccaneers are now 0-7 on the season.

Hunter Spangler scored the lone Buccaneer touchdown on a six-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Quarterback Adam Nelson led Grand Haven by completing three passes for 89 yards. Malic Love rushed for 28 yards on 13 carries.

East Kentwood was led by Justice Bright with 218 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
