The Muskegon Community College volleyball team traveled to number three in the nation Grand Rapids Community College on Tuesday.

The Jayhawks made the match interesting at times but ultimately fell in four sets, 25-22, 22-25, 11-25, and 25-27.

Robbie Berg paced Muskegon with 18 kills and 18 digs while Delaney Bennett had 16 kills and three blocks. Katie Veihl had 39 assists for the Jayhawks while Sammi Hockstra had 24 digs and five assists.

Muskegon drops to 17-14 overall and 11-2 in conference play. The Jayhawks sit two games behind Grand Rapids for first place in the western conference of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association standings.
