The Ludington football team dominated Mancelona Friday night 46-8 in a non-conference contest.

The Orioles are now 3-4 on the season.

Ludington opened the scoring with a 78-yard touchdown pass from Nate Patterson to Jayden Hathaway only 1:17 into the game

Mancelona responded to take an 8-7 lead before the Orioles scored 39 unanswered points.

Garrett Meeker scored the final touchdown of the first quarter on a 56-yard run to give the Orioles a 13-8 lead.

Ludington increased its lead to 19-8 on a 43-yard pick six with 11:49 left in the second quarter to give the Orioles a 19-8 advantage

The Orioles added two touchdowns late in the second quarter on a 91-yard touchdown run by Shemar Jennings and four-yard completion from Patterson to Jake Plamondon.

Ludington led 33-8 at halftime.

Meeker and Patterson each punched in rushing touchdowns in the second half to wrap up the Ludington win.

Meeker finished with 115 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries, while Jennings had a total of 102 yards and one score on two carries. Patterson finished with 159 yards and two touchdowns on 4-of-6 passing while Hathaway had 78 yards receiving and one touchdown.
